Let your firm’s own agents create and deploy Conduit apps. You still approve generate and desktop deploy.
What this is
MCP is how agents you already run at the firm create Conduit apps and send them to people — the same work you do by hand in the Conduit app. They can target Revit, AutoCAD, or ACC.
When you’d let an agent do this
Use MCP when someone on the team already works through an agent and you want that agent to describe tools, generate versions, and propose who should get them.
Most people should start in the Conduit app. MCP is for firms that already have that agent workflow.
What you still approve
The agent does not run unsupervised.
- Generate — the agent cannot start a generate until you approve the plan
- Desktop deploy (Revit or AutoCAD) — the agent cannot assign a desktop add-in until you approve the people
What you click
A workspace admin opens the workspace menu (top left) → Workspace settings → Agent Access, creates a token for that agent, and decides whether the agent may assign desktop deploys.
Ask your admin for access. Do not paste tokens into chat or email.
What happens next
Once connected, the agent can create and deploy the way you do in the app. You still approve generate and desktop deploy. For the same path by hand, see From description to ribbon.
